Opened in 1936, Dinosaur Park is home to seven life-size concrete replicas of monstrous prehistoric reptiles. The park is located on a ridge of sandstone that encircles the Black Hills where dinosaurs of the Late Jurassic and Early Cretaceous periods have been found, and dinosaur footprints have been found not far from the park. Spectacular 100-mile views in every direction with the South Dakota Badlands visible to the east.
